2005 visits

Dear seafarer's friends, 4/17/05 - 4/23/05 Grace, mercy and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord. We visited 2 ships on last Saturday. ALNOMAN - 24 Indian crew, docked at Oiltanking 5. There were 4 Christians on board. YOU YUE - 26 Chinese crew, docked at City Dock #27, 1 Christian - chief engineer, 2 converters, we ate on board. 2 ships on Monday ODIN PACIFIC - Turkish crew. Ship docked at Greens Port East. We prayed with 2. HUA QIANG - 23 Chinese crew, docked at Greens Port West. The ship was not very receptive, but we had dinner on board and made a couple of friends. 3 ships on Tuesday. PERLA II - 20 Peruvian crew. Ship docked at Wood House 4. Pastor Malone met a lot of his old friends. They need old clothes. MANISAMUT NAREE - 13 Indian and 11 Thai crew, docked at City Dock #23. There were 3 Christians on board. YONG AN I - 23 Chinese crew. Ship docked at City Dock 32. The commissar was very open and friendly. We had dinner on board. 2 ships on Thursday. AQUILA - 23 Chinese crew, docked at Cargil 2, two Christians on board, and 16 crew members prayed the salvation prayer with us including the Captain. We dined on board. YARROW - 14 Sri Lanka, 1 Ukrainian, 1 Russian, 2 British, 2 Polish, and 2 Lithuania crew, docked at Oil Tanking 1. We didn't stay on board very long, just took 3 seamen who had short pass' to the seamen's club. 3 ships on Friday. GLOBAL ISLAND - 22 Indian crew, docked at Cemex. No Christian on board, that's unusual for an Indian ship, but we made a friend with the electrician. JIN DA - 23 Chinese crew, docked at Inbesa. There were 2 Christians on board. At least 8 people were praying with us with the salvation prayer. We ate dinner with the crew, and took 2 of them to go Wal Mart shopping. SKOLTEN - 18 Indian and 3 Philippine crew, docked at Olitanking 3. There were 10 Christians on board, 7 of them were Indian. We prayed with 6 Indian Christians and blessed them. I left early to go Wal Mart to take the 2 Chinese seamen back to Inbesa. May God bless you and your family richly. We were on board. HAI AN CHENG - 24 Chinese crew, docked at City Dock #17, 7 converts. The captain was very friendly. We dined on the ship. 2 ships on Tuesday: SEA RICHES - 22 Chinese crew, docked ar City Dock #32. 8 converts. I had a long talk with the general steward. The captain and the cheif engineer both were very friendly. We had dinner on the ship. M/T CHEM ORION - 23 Turkish crew, docked at Gorogia Gulf, 3 converts including the captain, 2 of them gave me their e-mail address. 4 ships on Thursiday: ZAPOTECA - 26 Thai crew, docked at City Dock. We prayed at the gangway. AMAM BELIA - 24 Philippine crew, docked at City Dock. We prayed at the gangway. HUAL TREASURE - 20 Chinese and 1 Burmese crew, docked at City Dock #25, 10 converts. The chief officer invited us to have dinner on board. CLIPPER LEGACY - 15 Russia crew, docked at Wood House. We were on board. May God bless you and your family richly! (1 Peter 1:2) We visited 2 ships on Monday: SUN RIVER - 30 Chinese crew, docked at Houston Fuel. It's a miracle that we could go in this dock. We never contacted them before, but our names were on their list. It's an answer to our prayer. God gave us some people to receive Jesus Christ into their hearts. Only the commissar was kind of resistant. We had dinner on board. CELEBES WIND - 21 Georgian crew, docked at Oil Tanking #6. They speak Russian. So we gave them Russian scriptures. 2 ships on Tuesday: JING AN CHENG - 27 Chinese crew, docked ar New Manchester B. We were on board last January 12. We had three friends, and some people prayed with us to receive Jesus. We had a good meal on the ship. Pastor Malone went and bought some banana and a cake for the crew while I was ministering to one of them. ALADDIN DREAM - docked at City Dock #16. Pastor Malone went by himself. 3 ships on Thursiday: HANJIN BRISBANE - 9 Korean and 9 Indonesian crew, docked at New Terminal. There was one Indonesian Christian on board. YOU XUAN - 25 Chinese crew, docked at City Dock #20. Some of them received Jesus Christ in their hearts. I forgot to put Chinese New Testament in the box, Pastor Malone had to go back to the apartment to get them. We had porridge for dinner. They gave us cribs but we gave them back. The chief cook was very nice to us. He knew Pastor Malone before. MATTERHORN - 21 Russian crew, docked at City Dock #24. We went on board and had another meal. A whole box of Russian scriptural material was almost gone. Pastor Malone went to see another Philippine ship and I went home. May God bless you and your family richly! (2 Peter 1:2) We visited 2 ships on Monday: VINLAN SAGA - 6 Philippine and 1 Danish crew, docked at City Dock #8. LAKE MAYA - 24 Russian crew, docked at City Dock #30. They invited us for dinner, we declined because we thought we had a previous engagement. Anyway we missed the dinner engagement and ended up eating at Hong Kong Chinese resturant. We tried to convert the resturant owner but in vain. However, that was a very nice meal. 6 ships on Tuesday: JAG LEELA - 23 Indian crew, docked ar Shell. There were 6 Christians on board. UMBERTO DAMATO - 20 Chinese crew, docked at City Dock #32. The captain won't allowed any visitor on board, so we gave away the materials on deck. Many came and some prayed the salvation prayer with us. Praise the Lord! OCEAN SUNRISE - Philippine crew, docked at North Taxis Cement. DIMITRIS MANIOS - 24 Russian crew, docked at Inbesa. HAI LAND - Russian crew, docked at Care Terminal. I didn't go. Pastor Malone went. I made an initial contact with YOU AN 2. TROITSKY BRIDGE - Russian crew, docked at Houston Fuel. We ate on board. 2 ships on Thursiday: We had Timothy Tao Mou from HCC comming with us. RERE MOANA - 9 Indian and 12 Philippine crew, docked at Oil Tanking #3. There were 4 Indian Christians on board. Several Philippine crew prayed the salvation prayer. FORMOSAGAS APOLLO - 26 Chinese crew, docked at Oil Tanking #2. Some of them prayed the salvation prayer with us and admited Jesus Christ in their hearts. I forgot to put the Chinese English bilingual New Testament in the box, forgive me Lord. We had a meal together with the crew on board. It was very wonderful to have Timothy with us. Thanks to HCC. 2 ships on Friday: WADI ALARISH - 31 Egyptian crew, docked at Trans Global. We went on board with Pastor Malone's a bid little arabic. Thank God everything went smoothly. YOU AN 2 - 23 Chinese crew, docked at Inbesa. Many received Jesus Christ in their hearts and they need follow ups including the captain. We were treated with dinner nicely. May God bless you and your family richly! MARITIME KELLY ANNE - 12 Philippine, 15 Indian, 1 Chinese, and 1 Malayan crew, captain is an Indian, docked at Oil Tanking #2. STOLT ALLIANCE - 25 Chinese crew, docked at Oil Tanking #3. We didn't know that was a Chinese crew until we visited them. We decided to come back again tomorrow. GLKA SIRIUS - 13 Philippine and 8 Croatian crew, docked at Oil Tanking #5. AGIA MARINA - 9 Spanish and 2 Greek crew, docked at Jacinto Port. ORKNEY SPIRIT - 3 Indian, 15 Polish, 2 Norwegian, 1 Philippine, 1 Canadian, 1 S. African, 1 Italanian, 1 Turkish, and 1 Latvian crew, docked at Houston Fuel. VENICE - 21 Indian, 1 Italian, and 2 Croatian crew, docked at Houston Fuel. We had curry chicken for dinner. There were 6 Indian Christians from Goa on board. 6 ships on Tuesday: STOLT ALLIANCE - 25 Chinese crew, ship shifted to City Dock #19. Chief officer is a Christian. We brought the box containing the scriptural materials on the ship first, then we left the ship to update our security badges and visiting some other ships, then we came back. We had meal on board, the chief cook had a lot of interests in christianity. BBC KOREA - 12 Philippine, 3 Polish, and 1 Crotian crew, docked at City Dock #32. ATLANTIC FORTUNE - 13 Philippine, 1 Polish, 1 Russian, 3 Croatian, 1 Bulgarian, and 1 Hungarian crew, docked at City Dock #29. HARU VEROY - 4 Korean, and 16 Philippine crew, docked at City Dock #24. KAJUWY - 20 Polish crew, docked at City Dock #23. JA SUNRISE - 20 Philippine crew, docked at City Dock #16. 4 ships on Thursiday: PREM MALA - 21 Indian crew, docked at Shell. We had lunch on board. STRYMON - 9 Greek, and 14 Philippine crew, docked at Shell. MAYA - 21 Indian crew, docked at Bay Port Terminal. There were 4 Christians on board. FORMOSA 6 - 24 Chinese crew, docked at Bay Tank. Not long before we left, we had opportunity to pray with them. Once again we saw how God's spirit helped us to work together to win the souls for His glory. (Jude: 2) We visited 1 ship on Monday: TAI GU HAI - 28 Chinese crew, docked at Greens Port E. We visited this ship last Nov. and Dec., some of them we knew. We prayed with about 12 people. Interestly enough, the commissar was very open and he prayed with us too. We dined on the ship. 4 ships on Tuesday: NICOS TOMASOS - 5 Indonesian, 13 Polish, and 4 Greek crew, ship docked at Crown Terminal. We had the scriptural materials in their language. M/V WINTER - 15 Russian, 8 Maldive, and 1 Bulgarian crew, docked at New Terminal. DZINTARI - 25 Russian crew, docked at City Dock #2. We had fish and ice cream for dinner. We finished the box of material we brought up. JOSE BREEZE - 24 Myanmar crew, docked at Vopak Deer Park. Chief Officer was a 2nd generation Chinese immigrant. He can talk Chinese, so we prayed in Chinese. What a wonderful date. His name is Peik Ling Huang. It's an unforgetable date. 2 ships on Thursiday: SHOU CHANG HAI - 34 Chinese crew, docked at Greens Port W. They had 6 cadets. We prayed with 14 of them, 2nd officer had the most interest in us. We dined on board. CHRYSSA - Philippine crew, docked at Greens Port E. Pastor Malone went to visit alone. 1 ship on Friday. FORTUNE BRIGHT - 21 Chinese crew, docked at C-Max. We had Frank Yu from FBCC to come and visit the ship with us. It's nice to have a small team of soul winners. We prayed with more than half of the crew, some of them were interested in their faith in Jesus. The captain was very open, he invited us to dinner. The chief officer is a christian. Life line to seamen had the annual board meeting on Saturday afternoon. May God bless you and your family richly! We didn't go on board. DESERT EXPLORER - 13 Greek, 10 Philippine, and 1 Romanian crew, docked at Greens Port W. We didn't go on board either. ST. MARCO - 9 Indian and 11 Philippine crew, docked at kinder Morgan. We were on board, and prayed with the Indians and had dinner with them. 3 ships on Thursday: LEOPOLD STAFF - 22 Polish crew, docked at City Dock #47. We were not on board. GREAT HARMONY - 21 Chinese, 2 Indian, and 3 Banglodeshi crew, docked at Cargil. We were on this ship last Dec. 26. The Chinese crew were still the same except we got to know more of them, and to know them more. We dined on board and we prayed with some of them. JAG ANGALI - 30 Indian crew, docked at Kinder Morgan. There were 3 Christians on board. They need us to pray for them desparatly, especially the Cristian cadet. 2 ships on Friday. ABBOT POINT - 22 Chinese crew, docked at Cargil. 7 of them had short pass. I stayed a little bid late after dinner. Pastor Malone left early to visit another Russian ship. TIAN YANG FENG - 24 Chinese crew, docked at Care Terminal. I just had an initial contact with them, they'll stay over the week end. May God bless you and your family richly! Your brother in Christ Thomas Tao Dear seafarer's friends, 6/05/05 - 6/11/05 Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.(1 Corinthians 1:3) The WHCC's EE team and I (totally 3) visited the TIAN YANG FENG on Sunday afternoon. Eddie Wang drove the car. 2 seamen received Jesus Christ in their hearts. We visited 1 ship on Monday: FORMOSA 10 - 21 Chinese crew, docked at Georgia Gulf. We prayed with about 10 people on board. The captain's wife was on the ship, we had the salvation prayer with her too, and we had a good dinner with the crew. 4 ships on Tuesday: TIAN YANG FENG - 24 Chinese crew, docked at Care terminal. I brought the Chinese scriptural material with me and arrived the ship a little bid before 11:30. I had lunch on the ship and had a long talk with a Christian able seaman and got his e-mail address. And prayed with some other seamen on board. MAY STAR - 20 Chinese crew, docked at North Texas Cement. Many people received Jesus Christ in their hearts. We had dinner on board. My car went dead just when I got there. Pastor Malone prayed for my car and I couldn't believe it. I even called AAA. I gave a last try right before we left the place, and it started again. Praise the Lord, I cancelled the AAA call and followed Pastor Malone to the Russian ship. TEMRYUK - 22 Russian crew, docked at Kinder Morgan 1 in Galena Park. We were on board for almost an hour. ELKA GLORY - 16 Phillipine, 1 Greek and 7 Russian crew, docked at Kinder Morgan 2 in in Galena Park. We didn't go on board. 1 ship on Wednesday. FORMOSA 8 - 24 Chinese crew, docked at Bay Port Odfjell. 3 of them had short pass. We ate on the ship. Cheif cook and the third Engineer showed a little bid interest. We with some people to received Jesus into their hearts. From June the 12th to July the 5th I'll be away with my family to Taiwan, Hong Kong and China, so there will be no e-mail for the next three weeks. May God bless you and your family richly! Your brother in Christ Thomas Tao Dear seafarer's friends, 7/03/05 - 7/09/05 Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.(1 Cor. 1:3) My sister Hai-Shan and her daughter Jessica and my wife Nancy and my son Jonathan and I went to this three weeks trip to Taiwan, Hong-kong, and China. We had wonderful time together. Most importantly, I gave my frients and relatives scripture materials and shared gospel with them, and prayed with them. May God blesses his work. I want to gave special thanks to Nancy's sisters Linda and Joise, who took us to many places in China and Hong-kong, without them we were really blind. We got back to Houston on July the 5th, late in the night. We (Pastor Malone and I) visited 4 ships on Thursday: SANKO REJOICE - 21 Indian crew, docked at City Dock #20. We went on board. There were 2 Christians on the ship, bosun and the 4th Engineer. YONG AN 3 - 24 Chinese crew, docked at City Dock #26. We had the opportunity to pray separately with 10 people and asked Jesus to coming to their hearts. The captain was very kind to give his share of food to us for dinner. We gave them a sack of clothing. STAR HANSA - 20 Philippine crew, docked at City Dock #23. We were not on board, but we prayed with this seaman named Joseph, 31 years old at the gangway. He was not sure where he is going after death, but after we prayed, he was very certain he is going one way to heaven. RICKMERS HUMBURG - 20 Philippine, and Germany, Polish, and Croatian crew, docked at City Dock #17. We were not on board, just gave out scriptures and prayed at the gangway. (1 Cor. 16:23,24) Your brother in Christ Thomas Tao Dear seafarer's friends, 7/10/05 - 7/16/05 Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.(2 Cor. 1:2) We visited 2 Chinese ships on Monday: POS ETERNITY - 20 Chinese crew, docked at City Dock #32. We were on board. 4 of them had short-pass. They asked us to take them to shopping. Pastro Malone decided to take them to Wal Mart while I can visit the other Chinese ship.So we did after dinner. There were quite a few people willing to pray the salvation prayer with us on this ship. SOUTHERN SPIRIT - 21 Chinese crew, docked at City Dock #20. We just visited this ship last March, like I knew everyone. Most of them had the complete scriptural materials and prayed with us. All of them had short-pass, and many went aboard already. So, I just gave some newspaper, magazine, Bible and VCD away and took 4 seamen to shopping and sent them back. 2 ships on Wednesday. CEC FANTASY - 13 Ukraine crew, docked at care terminal. We were not on board except we prayed with 2 of them at the gangway. BEAUTY SEA - 26 Chinese crew, docked at Cargil. Before we got on the ship we went to the superintendent of the dock to get a more permanent status, a hard hat and 2 pairs of safety glasses for the ship visiting. There were one baptist Christian on board, although he acted like the others, but in his heart I think it's different. We prayed with only a few of them. May be because the commissar was a communist so the ship was not that open. I prayed that the Holy Spirit will continue to work on this ship until everyone is converted. May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. We stayed at the gangway. MANHATTAN PRINCESS - 26 Philippine crew, docked at City Dock #21. We were not on board UAL AFRICA - 10 Philippine crew with one Russian Captrin, docked at City Dock #19. We didn't go on board. PANGANI - 14 Russian crew with one German Captain, docket at Manchester. We had lunch on board. it's a friendly ship. FESTIVITY - 30 Chinese and 2 Spanish crew, docked at Cemex. We had dinner on board. There were 10 people prayed the salvation prayer and received Jesus in their hearts before we left. Thank God. 7 ships on Thursday. TAI KANG HAI - 29 Chinese crew, docked at Greens Port. We had a lot of friends on board, we gave them more new materials. They invited us to have lunch with them. Pastor Malone and I went separate way. He visited SYLVIA - 10 Ukrainian and 8 Philippine crew at Inbesa; WEDELLSBORG - 20 Bulgarian crew; and BBC MAXICO - 2 Russian, 8 Philippine crew. While I went to visit FORMOSA 14 - 25 Chinese crew, at Oil Tanking #2. We all had wonderful visits at those ships. BERGE DENISE - 17 Indian and 8 French crew, docked at Oil Tanking #4. There were 5 Indian Christians on the ship. NEW ORION - 6 Chinese and 14 Korean crew, docked at Bulk Plant. We made friends with the Chinese crew, and they invited us to dinner. Then I took 2 Korean to Wal Mart and prayed with them and blessed them. Grace be with you. MARYLEBONE - 20 Indian crew, docked at North Texas Cement. There were 5 Christians on board. We had good fellowship together. HUI SHUN HAI - 28 Chinese crew, docked at Greens Port West. There was one Christian on the ship. Huey took some pictures for us. They invited us to have dinner with them and gave us some offering money. Ten people with the captain prayed and received.Jesus Christ in their hearts. Praised the Lord and thanks for Huey's coming. 5 ships on Wednesday: Pastor Malone and I went separate ships first, then he joined me. JOSE BREEZE - 24 Myanmar crew with a Chinese descendant chief officer. docked at Vopak Deerpark #3.. We visited this ship three monthes ago. They still need some materials. The chief officier called me before the ship arrieved, so I brought some phone cards as they wanted and prayed with them. It's like a nice reunion. KERIN - 24 Turkish crew, docked at Vopak Deerpark #1. Pastor Malone went alone on this ship then he joined me. He had a good visit on both ships. M/T CHEMBULK CASABLANCA - 22 Croatian and 3 Myanmar crew, docket at City Dock #1. There was one Myanmar Christian on board. AFRICAN STAR - 15 Philippine and 9 Ukrainian crew, docked at City Dock #8. We were not on board. ANDANTE - 11 Russian and 1 German crew, docked at City Dock #20. 3 ships on Thursday: ASKABAT - 24 Turkish crew, docked at Greens Port East. We went on board and had a good visit, Pastor Malone was invited to the bosun's cabin and prayed with him. BALSA 55 - 20 Philippine crew, docked at Industrial West. We were not on board just prayed with some of them at the gangway.. DOMENICO IEVOLI - 10 Indian, 11 Italian, 2 Montenegrin and 1 Polish crew, docked at Georgian Gulf. There were three Indian Christians on board. We had dinner on the ship. After the day of visiting Pastor Malone and I agreed to exercise in the pool a little bid, so we spent almost an hour in the swimming pool in front of his apartment. (2 Thess. 1:2) Pastor Malone visited a 21 Chinese crew ship TALISMAN at Trans Global Sunday night. We visited 7 ships on Monday: APJ ANJLI - 30 Indian crew, docked at Cargil. 2 Moslems received Jesus Christ into their hearts. BELUGA EMOTION - 12 Philippine, 2 German, 1 Ukrainian, and 1 Polish crew, docked at Care Terminal. Captain was Polish. We didn't go on board. MIAMI MAIDEN - 24 Philippine crew, docked at Jacinto Port. We stayed at the gangway. AFRICAN FUTURE - 11 Russian and 9 Philippine crew, docked at Oil Tanking #1. It's a three monthes old ship. We had a good visit on the ship. DJANET - 9 Philippine, 9 Croatian, and 1 Belgium crew, docked at Oil Tanking #3. ANNEMARIE B - 7 Philippine, and 4 Russian crew, docked at Texas Terminal. We spent about one half an hour to pray and fellowship with this born again Philippine cadet Christian at the gangway. Pastor encourage him to be a minister for Jesus. MANDARIN GLORY - 24 Chinese crew, docked at Bulk Plant. It's just an initial visit. We decided to come back later. 3 ships on Thursday: Mat Mullins from China Now and Daniel kwan from FBCC joined us today. MANDARIN GLORY - Four of us went to this ship. Since we called the captain earlier and the initial visit we had, the ship was very open. Thank God. They invited us to eat and we had the opportunity to pray with a group of ten people and also prayed with the captain, the chief engineer and the chief officer. Daniel and Mat left a little bid early. It's a good visit at large. Praise the Lord. OCEAN BELLE - Just an intial check with the guard on shore. They are sailing Friday night. M/T CHEM PISCES - 24 Indian crew, docket at City Dock #8. There were 4 Christians on board. We stayed untill 9 o'clock and left, because it's late. 5 ships on Friday: OCEAN BELLE - 24 Chinese crew, docked at City Dock #8. We went on board at lunch hour. We saw the Chinese Father Jar there. We were on this ship last Nov. the 8th. The faces had been changed many and we gave them a lot of scriptural materials. CLIPPER MERCURY - 22 Indian crew, docked at New Terminal. We went on board and there were 8 Christians on board. We came back to Pastor Malone's apartment and prepared new materials for the afternoon visits. PANAM CARIBE - 11 Myanmar and 9 Croatian crew, docked at City Dock #1. 1 ships on Wednesday: LU XUN - 23 Chinese crew, docked at City Dock #47. The crew was friendly, we met with the Captain and the commissar, they don't want us to pray with them so we jusst prayed for the Captain and bless the ship, and prayed the salvation prayer with other 6 crews. EEC PACIFIC - 23 Ukrainian crew, docked at City Dock #29. SHAO SHAN 1 - 28 Chinese crew, docked at City Dock #26. We knew the Captain from DE SHAN October 8, 2004. It is so glad to see friends again. Norman broght some seamen to the Lord, praise His wonderful name. 5 ships on Thursday: HC DALIA - 19 Russian crew, docked at Shell Terminal. We had lunch on board. SANKO DYNASTY - 28 Philippine, 1 Greek, and 1 Finnish Captain crew, docked at Shell Terminal. SKY LURK - 24 Indian crew, docked at Megellan #!. There were 2 Christians on board. We got there a little bit after 3 pm which was their tea time. SEA TREASURE - 23 Philippine crew, docked at Megellan #2. VASILIY BURKHANOV - 26 Russian crew, docked at City Dock #31. We found a lot of Russian Bibles lying in the library, worth about $75.00. We took them all for other Russian ships. Grace be with you all. We knew this friend Dianold, he is a Christian and took us to his cabin. We had a good fellowship together. Praise the Lord. CLIPPER VALOUR - 23 Indian crew, docked at City Dock #20. There were 7 Christians on board. We didn't go into the cabin, they all had Bibles. STAR HERDCA - 19 Philippine crew, docked at City Dock #22. BOSSE - 22 Philippine crew, docked at City Dock # 24. RICKMERS ANTWERP - 23 Philippine, and 2 Croatian crew, docked at City Dock #31. LARA - 8 Russian crew, docked at City Dock #32 3 ships on Friday: FU YANG SHAN - 33 Chinese crew, docked at Industrial Terminal. We got there 2 hours before she sailed. There was a commissar on board, but we were invited to eat lunch. They took every thing we had in the box. Praise the Lord. JIN FU - 26 Chinese crew, docked at City Dock #47. We arrived a few hours before they sailed too. Thanks God, we still can do God's work on board. RICKMERS DALIAN - 16 Philippine, 5 Chinese, 3 Romanian, 2 Polish, and 1 German Captain crew, docked at City Dock #32. There were ready to sail soon. (Jas.1:1) We visited 5 ships on Monday: VALIANT - 32 Indian crew, docked at Oil Tanking #5. There were 3 Christians on board. SEA FLOURISH - 29 Chinese crew, docked at Greens Port W. We visited this ship 3 times in 2004, January, March, and July. The Captain and the chief officer were once on this same ship. The ship was very receptive in general. SIR WALTER - 24 Philippine crew, docked at Greens Port E. UBC TOKYO - 24 Philippine, 1 Polish, and 1 Czeck Republican crew, docked at Wood House #1. SCM ELPIDA - 14 Russian crew, docked at Wood House #2. 3 ships on Friday: BROTHER GLORY - 8 Bulgarian, 10 Ukrainian, 2 Romanian, 1 Croatian, 1 Montenegro, 1 Bangladesh Captain, and 1 Yugoslavian crew, docked at Bulk Plant. DESH SHAKTI - 34 Indian crew, docked at Oil Tanking #5. There were 5 Christians on board. Right before we left the ship, Pastor Malone delivered a fifteen minutes beautiful message to 7 seamen including 2 Christians, about God, Jesus, and Christmas. Is there anything better than this to have together with the seamen in Christmas? The other five received Jesus into their hearts in prayer. ALBANE - 19 Philippine crew, docked at Oil Tanking #4. (1Pe.1:2) We visited 5 ships on Monday: AETEA SIERRA - 9 Sri Lanka, 5 Yugoslavian, 2 Myanmar, and 1 Greek crew, docked at City Dock #47. There were 5 Christians on board. OCEAN PRIDE - 23 Chinese crew, docked at City Dock #32. The Captain was very friendly. We spent about 3 hours on the ship and about 1 1/2 hours was talking to the Captain. My son Joshua, his wife Sarah, my son Jonathan, my wife Nancy, and I went to visit OCEAN PRIDE on Friday during their lunch hour, we played a lot of music, Joshua violin, Sarah key board, and Jonathan cello, they liked it, and we really enjoyed the time spending with the Captain and the crew. Jiao Hong from our church, Jonathan, Nancy, and I visited OCEAN PRIDE on Saturday at noon again. Jiao Hong sang, Jonathan played the key board. Nancy and I helped them to sing.
