This is the year of finality, and confirms that 2009 will be the greatest harvest of souls in human history. Already we are receiving reports of vast conversions among the Muslims, Africans, and many in China, India, and Russia. We urge you to share your faith with those you encounter. Use every opportunity God gives you for his glory.
ships visited this week
6 ships on Monday: MONTIRON, and BW NICE - All Indian; French, and Indian. Eight Christians
on the first ship. We prayed with one Christian and one Hindu. Three Indian
Christians on the second vessel. The French captain is an atheist. We gave them
the Scriptures and the Jesus DVDs.
CHEMBULK YOKOHAMA, GULSER ANA, and ELVER - All Myanmar;
All Turkish; Indonesian, Greek, and Romanian. We were on the first ship last
Aug. Some of them remembered me. Two Christians on board. We prayed with
the captain and a cadet on the second ship. One Indonesian Christian Christian
on the third ship. We gave them the Scriptures and the Jesus DVDs.
KANG HUAN - All Chinese. The chief officer was very nice. He stayed there in
the mess room the whole time we were there. He prayed with us, and invited us
to have dinner. (see attachment). Today is the Chinese New Year's day. We
kindly rejected because other engagement.
Someone from FBCC came and help the ministry today.
10 ships on Wednesday: CAP THANOS, TORM VALBORG, SEA CHALLENGER, BALTIMAR
SIRIUS, INDUSTRIAL EAGLE, and ALIANCA SHANGHAI - All Filipino;
All Filipino; Filipino, and Ukrainian; Filipino, and Ukrainian; Filipino, Ukrainian,
and Croatian; Filipino, Russian, Croatian, German, and Polish. Receptive,
Prayed with some of the ships and delivered to them Scriptures and Jesus
DVDs.
AURETTE A, and SUCHADA NAREE - All Turkish; Thai, and Indian. No
Christian on either vessels, but they received the Scriptures and Jesus DVDs.
PEONY, and STAR DELTA - All Myanmar; Myanmar, Filipino, and
Ukrainian. Two Myanmar Christians on the first ship. Prayed with one Christian
and one Buddhist and blessed the crew.
11 ships on Thursday:
AURORA AMETHYST, ESHIPS EAGLE, JEWEL I, and BUJIN - All
Filipino; Filipino and Latvian; Filipino, and Greek; Filipino, Indian, and one
Chinese. Receptive. We visited the second ship just last month the crew has all
changed since. I found the only one Chinese on the last ship. He was the
third engineer. prayed with him and gave him the Scriptures, Jesus DVD, and
Gospel materials.
SCM ELPIDA, KATHARINA, and JEANNE-MARIE - All Russian; Russian,
and Romanian; Russian, Romanian, and French. They received the Scriptures,
the Jesus DVDs and the Gospel newspaper.
SMOLYAN, and CITRON - All Bulgarian; Turkish, and Indian. Some
Orthodox on the first ship. No Christian found on the second ship.
FASE, and TRANS IBERIA - Romanian, Croatian, and Norwegian; Romanian,
Norwegian, Polish, and Swedish. We visited the first ship last Nov. They were all
responsive.
5 ships on Friday:
CIELO DI SAVONA, and CAJA EMPRESS - All Filipino; All krainian.
Receptive.
JIU HUA HAI, OVERSEAS, and ST. MARIEN - All Chinese; Russian,
Filipino, and seven Chinese; Russian, Filipino, and three Chinese. It's a revisit on
the first ship. Two more seamen came to Christ and received Gospel materials.
We waited in the mess room till all the Chinese got their Scriptures and Jesus
DVDs, because they were so busy on the second ship. We prayed with two of
them. We prayed with one Chinese seaman on the third ship.
Payton Huang from WHCC college group came and helped the ministry.
5 ships on Saturday:
PORT MOODY, KIRSTEN K, and FEDERAL MIRAMICHI - Filipino, and Romanian; Filipino, and Russian; Ukrainian, and Sri Lanka. Receptive. The Sri
Lanka seamen really liked the Scriptures they received.
SATURNUS - All Indian crew. (see attachment). I was told there were three
Christians on board. I went down to the engine room and met one of them, the
fitter. Prayed with one Muslim. Many came forward to ask the Gospel materials
of their own languages.
PAC ANTARES - Fifteen Chinese, twelve Filipino, and one Myanmar. We
were on this ship last Oct. I talked to one Chinese ordinary seaman and asked
Jesus to be his Savior. (see attachment).
