Dear seafarer's friends, 03/15/09 - 03/21/09

There was no ship visiting last Saturday, the list I gave was a copy from the previous
week. My apology.ships visited this week
7 ships on Monday:
DEL SOL, and YACU PUMA - All Filipino; All Peruvian. The Filipinos liked the
English Scriptures this time as well as the Peruvians liked the Spanish Scriptures
and Jesus DVDs. We were on the first ship last Nov. and the second ship last
May.
NAVIG8 FAITH, and EAGLE CORONA - All Indian; Indian, Filipino, and
Malaysian. Two Christians on the first ship. No Christian except the Filipino
Catholics on the second ship.
STX ACE 10, and STX ACE 11 - Both ships were Korean, and Myanmar.
Two Myanmar Christians and two Korean Christians on the first ship. I didn't
see any Christian on the second ship.
CHIPOLBROK MOON - All Chinese. We were on this ship last Jun. The chief
Cook knows me and a few others. I prayed with three people separately on
board.
2 ships on Tuesday:
KAROLINE N, and TRADEWIND UNION - Both ships were Indian, and
Filipino. Very receptive. The first ship was only one and one half month old. She
was manufactured in Korean, owned by an American company and managed by
a Singapore company. There were two Indian Christians on board, the Captain
and the Chief Engineer. We shared the Bible verses together and prayed
together. (see picture). There was only one Indian Christian on the second ship.
4 ships on Thursday:
ZEYNEP A - All Turkish. Receptive. The ship was sailing, so it was a very short
visit.
KANG HING, FORMOSA THIRTEEN, and GINGA EAGLE - All Chinese;
All Chinese; Korean, and Chinese. The Chief Officer on the first ship wanted an
English Bible. We prayed with three people on board. The second ship is an old
friend, we were on this ship many times before, but the crew were mostly new. I
had a long talk with the Captain. He refused to pray with me. Some others were
interested and we prayed the salvation prayer. Two believers on board, a
Mechanic who was baptized and an Ordinary Seaman who was not baptized yet.
A short visit on the third ship, 'cause she was sailing.
Steven Chao from WHCC came and helped the visitation today.
6 ships on Friday:
LIBYA, LOTUS, and KANG HING - All Bulgarian; Korean, and Indonesian;
All Chinese. Mostly Christians on the first ship. One Korean Captain Christian
on the second ship. A revisit on the third ship. The Chief Officer got the English
Holy Bible. (see picture).
CHEMICAL SUPPLIER, BW BORG, and TRADEWIND MOON - Indian
crew and one Ukrainian Captain; All Indian; Indian, and Filipino. We were on the
first ship and the second ship last Sep. Four Indian Christians on the first ship.
Five Christian on the second ship. (see picture). One Indian Christian on the third
ship.
One person from FBCC came and helped the visitation today.
2 ships on Saturday:
KANG HING, and FORMOSA THIRTEEN - All Chinese. Both ships were
revisits. Shared the Gospel with them. (see picture). More people came forward
to received the Lord into their hearts.
Ying Dau Lu, Daniel Jen, and Kelley Kao from HCC, Wei Bin Lu from WHCC
came and helped the ministry today. We need to pray for the TWIC's card,
'cause only limited people can have the access to the port from now on.
