ships visited this week,
7 ships on Monday (04/16):
Ying Dau Lu from Houston Chinese
Church came for the ship visiting and also visited the two injured
Chinese
seamen at Hermann Hospital.
9 ships on Tuesday (04/10):
Hsial Ping Chao from West Houston
Chinese Church came to visit the two injured Chinese
seamen and helped the ship
visitation today.
No ship visiting on Wednesday (04/18):
Ying Dau Lu, Jung Eng from Houston Chinese Church, Nancy Tao and I visited the two
injured Chinese
seamen at Hermann Hospital this afternoon. The carpenter asked for baptism, The OS wanted it too. So
we baptized them in their rooms in the Hospital. (See picture 4 & 5.) The OS will go back to China soon.
The hospital there can take over the case after he gets back. But the carpenter probably will stay here
longer. Please pray for their recovery.
No ship visiting on Thursday (04/19):
Steve Yeboah and I went to the weekly Chaplains gathering at Houston International Seafarers
Centers.They have already listed our names as their Chaplains, so we'll be able to go through
the security guards of all the docks. In order to fulfill our obligation we need to visit the ships
with HISC under the name Lifeline to Seamen, Inc. once a week and serve the day duty or night
duty at HISC as a group under LTS once 6 hours a week.
4 ships on Friday (04/20):
Someone from Fort Bend Community
Church, Payton Huang form West Houston Chinese Church, and
Steve Yeboah from Christ First Healing Church came to visited the two injured Chinese
seamen at
Hermann Hospital. Actually we were there to see them off. Because the insurance company had already
determined to send them back to China today. Please keep on praying for their recovery.
7 ships on Saturday (04/21):
Ying Dau Lu from Houston Chinese
Church came and helped the ministry today.
