ships visited this week
2 ships on Sunday:
LU HAI, and BBC ELBE - All Chinese; Russian, Ukrainian, and German. We
visited the second ship last Jun. This time was receptive. It's only an initial visit
on the first ship. I talked to the captain and just let them know that I'll come back
tomorrow.
4 ships on Monday:
STAR GRIP, and ADAM ASNYK - All Filipino; All Polish. We visited the first
ship last Nov. Both ships were receptive.
LU HAI, and SPRING PROGRESS - All Chinese; All Chinese. We were on
the second ship over a year ago. The captain was a strong believer but not
baptized yet. He already had a Christian name Paul. We explained the Scripture
to him, and urged him to be a born again Christian. He agreed and we baptized
him using a sprinkler format. (see picture 1 for the three of us, captain is in the
middle, Steven on the right, and I on the left). (see picture 2 for the other crew).
A revisit on the first ship. The ship was sailing, yet we were still able to pray
with three seamen and gave others the Gospel materials.
6 ships on Tuesday:
JO EDIK, and CHEMBULK HONGKONG - All Filipino; Polish, and
Myanmar. We visited the first ship over a year ago. Both ships were responsive.
CLIPPER AYA, and SAPPHIRE EXPRESS - All Indian; All Indian. We were
on the first ship last Jun. There were three Christians on board, the third mate,
general steward, and a cadet. There was only one Christian, the electrician, (see
picture 3, the one dressed white), on the second ship. Prayed with him and the
two Hindus.
GREAT CREATION, and RICKMERS TOKYO - All Chinese; Filipino, three
Chinese, and Romanian. We visited the second ship over a year ago. I met the
Chinese third mate and prayed with him. (see picture 4). (see picture 5 for the
crew on the first ship).
3 ships on Thursday:
DHONOUSSA, SAFMARINE HOUSTON, and RATNA NAMRATA -
Filipino, Greek, and Georgian; Ukrainian, and Filipino; All Indian. We visited
the second ship over a year ago. All three ships were receptive. The last ship
had only one Christian on board, the cadet. I had a chance to pray with him
and other three Hindus with the salvation prayer and gave them the Scriptures
and Jesus DVDs. He just got on the ship for two months. He is taking an
eighteen months training experience. After that he will take an examine to be a
third mate. He wanted me to pray for him and his family.
7 ships on Friday:
PIONEER STAR, PACIFIC EAGLE, HANEBURG, and CHEM ALYA -
All Filipino; Filipino, and Greek; Filipino, Ukrainian, and Polish; Indian, and
Turkish. As I went to visit the second ship, the seaman on watch told me " I
know you from the previous visit on another ship." I was very glad to give him
more materials to give to others.
GLOBAL EXPLORER, CHEMBULK SAVANNAH, and KATJA - All
Myanmar; All Myanmar; All Romanian. We were on the second ship last Oct.
There were two Christians on board this time, Chief engineer and fitter. I met
another two seamen, they were responsive. There were two Christians on the
first ship, second mate and fourth engineer. (see picture 6 for the second mate
and I). I prayed with him.

May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. (2Co. 13:14)

ships visited this week
I had an eye problem, so I didn't go ship visiting for four days.
4 ships on Thursday:
PLACIO SEA, BELUGA SKYSAILS, CLIPPER KIRA, and KEW BRIDGE
- All Chinese; Ukrainian, Russian, German, and Bulgarian; Ukrainian, Russian, and Latvian; Ukrainian, and Russian. We visited the last ship last Mar. They
were all nice and receptive. The commissar of the Chinese ship was rejective. I
was allowed only stayed on the deck. So I did, and gave whoever I met the
Scripture, Jesus DVD, and Christian literature. I had a chance to pray with a
cadet the salvation prayer and blessed the crew.
2 ships on Friday:
CLIPPER SENTOSA, and FORMOSA TEN - All Chinese; All Chinese. We
were on the first ship over one year ago, (see picture 1 of some of the crew on
deck, and picture 2 for the chief cook, general steward, and an able seaman).
Prayed with them and blessed the ship. We were on the second ship last Oct. (
see picture 3 for some of the crew, and picture 4 for the captain and Frank).
We shared the testimony with the captain and prayed with the first engineer and others. Mostly receptive.
Someone from FBCC came and helped the ship visitation today.

The grace of the Lord Jesus be with you. My love to all of you in Christ Jesus. Amen. (1Co. 16:23,24)

3 ships on Monday:
GOLDEN ORCHID, BW LORD, and IKAN MANZANILLO - Korean, and Myanmar; Norwegian, and Filipino; Chinese, and Filipino. We visited the
first ship last Apr., the last ship over a year ago. There were eight Chinese on
board. (see picture 1 for part of the Chinese and Filipino crew). All receptive.
Prayed with them and blessed the crew.
3 ships on Tuesday:
ANEMOS I, NAESBORG, and STOLT SURF - Russian, Romanian, and
Filipino; Russian, Bulgarian, Polish, and Turkish; All Latvian. We visited the
second ship way over a year ago. While others were delieving the Christmas
presents, I gave them the Scriptures and Jesus DVDs. All receptive.
7 ships on Thursiday:
TAIXING, and ETERNAL CONFIDENCE - All Chinese; All Chinese. A
revisit on the first ship. We were on the second ship last Sep., six crew members
had been changed since then. Other seamen still remembered me. (see picture 2
for two of the crew). I prayed with the chief engineer and delivered to them the
Gospel materials.
SOLEY 2, SAFMARINE ANGOLA, BBC KUSAN, BBC ALASKA, and
UAL ANGOLA - All Russian; Filipino, Russian, and Bulgarian; Filipino,
Russian, and Sir Lanka; Filipino, Russian, and Indian; All Polish. We visited the
second ship last Jul. and the last ship over a year ago. Prayed with them and
they all responsive.
3 ships on Saturday:
TAIXING, CHIPOLBROK SUN, and ATLANTIC POLARIS - All Chinese;
All Chinese; All Indian. A revisit on the first ship. The ship is still repairing. It's
going to take several more days to get her ready for sail. We were on the
second ship last Aug. Some crew had been changed since. Prayed with them
and gave them the Gospel materials. There were four Christians on the last ship,
one deck cadet, pump man, electritian, and junior engineer. The Christian cadet
gave me his name and wanted me to remember him and his family in prayer
which I always love to do.

In the year of 2009, we visited 1,202 ships. Among them:
