ships visited this week
1 ship on Sunday:
TAI BAI HAI - All Chinese. A short time revisit. Responsive.
4 ships on Monday:
KAROLINE N, MILLENNIUM FALCON, BOW CECIL, and TUXPAN
REEF - Indian officers and Filipino crew; Japanese, Korean, and Filipino;
Swedish, Norwegian, and Filipino; Polish, Ukrainian, and Filipino. We were
on the first ship last Oct. There were two Indian Christians on board this time,
one fitter and the fourth engineer. (See picture 1, the one on the far right is the
fitter, the one in the middle is a Filipino, the one on the far left is a Hindu). We
prayed together and blessed the ship. We visited the second ship last Oct.
and the third ship over a year ago. All receptive.
8 ships on Wednesday:
CLIPPER TRINIDAD, SE VERDIGRIS, DEL SOL, GIOVANNI DP,
and PANAM ATLANTICO - All Filipino; Filipino, and Russian; Filipino, and
Korean; Filipino, Italian, and Latvian; Croatian, Russian, and Myanmar. We
visited the third ship last Oct. and the fourth ship over a year ago and the last
ship last Nov. Prayed and blessed the ships. All responsive.
OCEAN PRINCESS I, STOLT VANGUARD, and BW DANUBE - All
Indian; All Indian; Filipino, One Chinese, and Indian; We were on the first ship
last Jul. There were two Christians on board, chief officer and fourth engineer.
(See picture 2 for part of the crew). We preached to a Hindu. He accepted
that salvation is free and only by God's grace through our faith, not by doing
good works. We were on the second ship over a year ago. The ship was
sailing, so it was just a short visit. There were three Christians on board, chief
cook, and two motorman. (See picture 3 for two seamen and Steven on the
ship). The third ship is from Singapore. The only Chinese was the third
engineer. (See picture 4, the one on the far right) . We all prayed together with
the English salvation prayer.
Steven Chao from WHCC came and helped ship visitation.
8 ships on Thursday:
OCEAN HOPE, WEST FORTUNE, GLADIATOR, SONGA SAPPHIRE,
and IKAN MANZANILLO - All Filipino; All Filipino; All Filipino; Filipino,
and Panamanian; Filipino, and Chinese. We were on the last ship last Dec.
All receptive.
BAVARIA, YELLOWSTON, and CLIPPER MAKISHIO - Russian, and
Ukrainian; Myanmar, Polish, and South African. All Indian. We visited the
first ship over a year ago. We were on the second ship last Jul. (See picture
6 for the South African Christian on the first left). (See picture 7 for the only
Christian on board on the Indian ship). It was a revisit this week. All
responsive.
2 ships on Friday:
AFRICAN GLORY, and BULKTEC - All Chinese; All Chinese. It was
the first time for both ships to come into Houston. I left my camera at home,
so, there was no picture taken today. I finished giving away all the Gospel materials I brought with me for both vessels. And I prayed with them
individually as well publicly.
The joint mission conference at WHCC starts on the 26th. The theme is "One Vision One Mission". The main speaker is George Verwer, founder of Operation Mobilization international. Philip Vandercook, Executive Director of Global Maritime Ministries, Inc. from New Orleans is the speaker for Seafarer's Ministry.
Please pray for this conference and for the participants who will be interested in
this Seafarer's Ministry.
