Dear seafarer's friends, 07/17/11 - 07/23/11

ships visited this week
8 ships on Monday:
MEDI OSAKA, STOLT BRELAND, CHEM LEO,
GLORIOUS SAWARA, SLUISGRACHT, and ALPINE MIA
- All Filipino; Filipino, and Russian; Filipino, and Indian; Filipino,
and Chinese; Filipino, Russian, and Dutch; Filipino, Indian, and
Russian. We visited the third ship last May. There were four
Indian Christians on board, third mate, one able seaman, and
two motormen. We were on the last ship a year before last
May. There were five Indian Christians on board, third mate,
second engineer, fifth engineer, one motorman and one able
seaman. Prayed with them and blessed the ships. (See pic. 1
& 2 for part of the crew on the fourth ship). I took four
Chinese to Wal Mart and Best Buy. One of them, the second
mate is a Christian. (second one from the right in pic. 2).
GREAT BLOSSOM, and CLIPPER GOLFITO - All Chinese;
Myanmar, Croatian, and Russian. We visited the second ship
last Mar. (See pic. 3 & 4 for some of the crew on the first ship).
7 ships on Tuesday:
BBC SKYSAILS, MARCELA LADY, LASCAUX, and
LUCY SNUG - Filipino, and Russian; Filipino, and Russian;
Filipino, and French; Filipino, Romanian, and Italian. We
visited the second ship last Aug. There were about three born
again Filipino Christians on board, we didn't meet all of them,
and they don't have a Bible study group on the ship. We
watched the Jesus film with them and prayed with them. (See
pic. 5 for some of the crew on board).
CRISTINA L, EOT SPT, and AN CHANG - Greek,
Ukrainian, Indonesian, and Chilean; All American; All Chinese.
(See pic. 6 for part of the crew on the first ship). Gave them
the Gospel materials and blessed the ships.
Hsiao Ping Chao from West Houston Chinese Church came
and helped the ministry today.
1 ship on Wednesday:
AN CHANG - All Chinese. A revisit on the ship. Had a nice
talk with the captain. He is a Buddhist but very open to the
Christianity. Watched the Jesus film with them and prayed
with them.
Thursday:
Ying Dau Lu and I went to Freeport, Texas to attend a mission
conference held by Port Ministries International. (See pic. 7).
Friday:
Ying Dau Lu and I went to the conference again. We met many
port chaplains from different states of the US. (See pic. 8 & 9).

May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and
the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. (2Co. 13:14)
