Dear seafarer's friends, 04/27/08 - 05/03/08

ships visited this week
5 ships on Monday:
FAIRCHEM COLT, and MOUNT HOPE - Filipino, Indian, Indonesian, and Bengalese; Filipino, Polish,
and Montenegro. Prayed with the Filipino Christians and blessed the ships.
TORM CARINA - Russian, Ukrainian, and Lithuania. The captain is an Orthodox Christian. Prayed with
him and blessed their families and the vessel.
BLUE MASTER - All Burmese. Short visit but receptive..
DE SHAN - Chinese. We were on this ship last October. Some knew me from previous visits. We
prayed together at the crew's mess room and also in the officer's mess room. Praise the Lord. Many
were willing to admit that Jesus is in their hearts.
12 ships on Tuesday:
OLMECA, BARENTS SEA, SYN ALCOR, GASCHEM JUMME, YAMAMAH, OCEANIC CRIMSON,
ESHIPS DUGON, and FAABORG - Russian, and Filipino; Croatian, Indian, and Filipino; Italian, and
Filipino; Dutch, German, Ukrainian, and Filipino; Polish, Russian, and Filipino; Indian, and Filipino;
Turkish, Croatian, Polish, Russian, and Filipino; All Filipino. Met some of the captains. Greeted them,
blessed them, their families, and their vessels.
BALTIC FREEDOM, and NORDSCOT - Ukrainian, and Russian; Tuvalu, and Russian. Prayed and
blessed the vessels.
CORN TULIP - All Turkish. None Turkish ship has short pass but very receptive. Chief cook's wife is
a Chinese.
SILVER WIND - All Georgian. They all use Russian, so I gave them Russian Scriptures and materials.
4 ships on Wednesday:
CORN LILY - All Turkish. Very friendly people especially the captain. Some like the Scriptures but
some don't.
MONT ACE, PACIFIC CELEBES, and KONSTANTINOS A - Chinese, Romanian, and Filipino;
Chinese, and Filipino; Greek, and Filipino. We visited this ship last February. Only 1 Chinese
on the ship. We talked to him over an hour. He is much happier than last time I saw him.
Only an initial visit on the 2nd ship.
We prayed with Joseph the Filipino Christian and blessed the vessel.
Pastor Jonathan Ling-Kwang Chiu from Formosan Evangelical Church came again and helped me for
the ship visitation today. He used to be a seaman 30 years ago.
8 ships on Friday:
BOW ARCHITECT, STAR FLORIDA, FORTUNE EXPRESS, and STAR SAVANNAH - Korean, and
Filipino; the rest of the ships are all Filipino. They all welcomed me, prayed and blessed their ships.
CARLOTTA - Turkish. They took all the Scriptures.
CLEVELAND - American. Responsive.
CHING HO, PACIFIC CELEBES - All Chinese; British, Indian, Filipino, and Chinese. We talked with
the captain on the Chinese ship for an hour. And prayed on both vessels. What a challenge.
Mr. Peter Ko from WHCC came and helped visiting the ships with me today.
