Dear seafarer's friends, 05/04/08 - 05/10/08

Grace, and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Savior. (Tit. 1:4)
ships visited this week
7 ships on Monday:
BALLAD, BRO ALEXANDRE, and LIST - Filipino, Russian, and Mexican; Filipino, and Swedish;
Filipino, and Ukrainian. Prayed with the Filipino and blessed their families. Gave out the Scriptures to
the Russian and Mexico. I love this job.
MARITIME VANESSA - Filipino, Indian, Malaysian, and Chinese. There was only 1 Chinese on this
ship. I went to this ship twice. The first time I went for the Filipino, 'cause I thought she was only a
Filipino ship. The second time I went for the Indian and the Chinese. The Chinese was a believer
already, 'cause he had a good Christian friend. He learned a lot from him, but he never had a chance to
pray the salvation prayer. So I led him to make the decision to follow Jesus, and gave him a lot of
Scriptures and materials to read. He liked them very much.
ROMNY - Russian. Responsive.
CHEMBULK YOKOHAMA - Burmese, and Polish. There was only 1 Polish, he was the captain who
didn't believe in Jesus but he didn't against religion. I met 1 of the 2 Burmese Christians on board and
blelssed him.
FORMOSA SIX - Chinese. This is the 4th time I have been on this vessel for the last 3 years. I knew
the captain, and chief engineer, the 3rd officer, the chief cook, and some others. The names didn't pop
up, but they knew me too. I led 6 people to pray the salvation prayer.
2 ships on Wednesday:
CLIPPER CARIBE - Croatian, and Burmese. We prayed with them for the Burmese country, their
government, and their families. especially the Cyclone survivors. No Burmese Christians but 3 came
forward to pray and ask Jesus into their hearts. We let them to use our cell phone to phone home
and talk to their family members. We had difficulty to get into the gate at first but God solved it.
CARIBBEAN SPIRIT - Korean, and Burmese. We did basically the same, prayed and blessed their
country, families, their crew, and the vessel. 1 Burmese Christian, and the Korean captain is a
Christian.
Pastor Jonathan Chiu from Formosan Evangelical Church came and used his cell phone to help this
ministry today.
11 ships on Thursday:
ANNA DESGAGNES, CLIPPER LEGEND, and ICE FIELD - Russian, and Ukrainian; All Russian;
. Russian, and Polish. A 3rd officer knew me from the previous visit. He just had a new born daughter.
We prayed for his family and his faith in Christ.
INDUSTRIAL ACHIEVER, REINA ROSA, YORK CASTLE, SAFMARINE TEXAS, IVS KWELA,
SLOTERGRACHT - All Filipino; All Filipino; Filipino, British, and Ukrainian; Filipino, Bulgarian, and
Russian; Filipino, and Burmese; Filipino, and Dutch. Some Christians do know that Jesus Christ is
Lord in our hearts, and through Him we have the eternal life, and this is the message we deliver.
No Burmese Christians, but prayed with 2 Buddhists in Jesus name.
CHEMICAL SUPPLIER - All Indian. 3 Christians on board including the captain. Prayed with the
captain for his family. He got married for 3 years but had no child yet.
OCEAN BELLE - 2 Korean, and mainly Chinese. Prayed with 3 Chinese for salvation. Took 2 to
Wal Mart, and brought them back.
4 ships on Friday:
SANKO EAGLE, and INDUSTRIAL DOLPHIN - All Filipino. Prayed and blessed the ships.
YASA UNSAL SUNAR - Turkish. They all have short passes, and this is a rare case for the Moslem
country. We were on this vessel for an hour trying to convince the chief mate that Jesus is the son of
God. He didn't want to admit but when we prayed in Jesus name he said Amen.
CLIPPER TENACIOUS - All Indian with 1 Burmese. 4 Indian Christians on board. We prayed with them
and with other 3 Hindus in the mess room. One of them said he wanted to believe in Jesus.
Someone came and helped the visitation with me today.
3 ships on Saturday:
HALIS KALKAVAN - Turkish. Please pray for this country. The security guard stopped us to go on
board first, but God led the way. One able seaman read the Scripture right in front of us as soon as we
gave it to him.
SPT SAPPHIRE - Indian, Chinese, and Pakistan. Captain was a 3rd generation Chinese living in India.
1 Indian Christian on board, and we were able to lead the prayer with 3 Hindus..
SHI DAI 3 - Chinese. The captain was resistant, but he accepted the Scriptures we gave to him. We
had opportunity to share the Gospel with others and prayed with 2 of them using the salvation prayer..
4 people from Houston Chinese Church came and helped me for the ship visitation. We had a good
team work.
Greet those who love us in the faith. Grace be with you all. (Tit. 3:15) Your brothers In Christ Tom Malone and Thomas
