10/12/08 - 10/18/08

Dear seafarer's friends, 10/12/08 -10/18/08 Grace and peace be yours in abundance. (1 Pet. 1:2) ships visited this week 4 ships on Monday: NORDANA MADELEINE, and BUNGA KANTAN DUA - Filipino, and Yugoslavian;
Filipino, Indian, and Malaysian. Filipino and Indian are very religious people. We
had good response on both ships. COS PROSPERITY - All Chinese. There was one Christian, gereral steward, on
board. He said to us he likes to be a missionary after he retires. They were all very nice and hospitable. We prayed in both the officer's and the crew's mess rooms. We
took one able seaman to Wal Mart and brought him back. Every little bit of the
Gospel material was gone. NORD OPTIMISER - All Indian. Two Christians on board, captain and bosun. Prayed
with the Hindus and blessed them. 5 ships on Tuesday: FAABORG, SAKURA EXPRESS, and CHEMBULK NEW YORK - All Filipino;
Filipino, and Crotian; Myanmar, Croatian, and Georgian. We visited the first and the
third ship last April. No Christian on the Myanmar ship. SAGA ANDORINHA - Indian, and Sri Lanka. Three Christians including one of the two
Sri Lankas on board. Prayed with one Christian and two other Hindus. JING AN CHENG - All Chinese. We were on this ship last June. More than half of the
crew knew me. First I had a chance to evangelize one person, the general steward, because everyone was busy. When the captain and everyone came, the atmosphere
was a little bit tense, although they still take the Gospel materials, until the new
commissar shew up. To my surprise, he was very open. We used dinner time and
talked over an hour. About the Gospel, the Bible , Isreal, personal life, sins and the
goverments... I didn't invite him to make a decision. Just pray when the time comes,
he will come to the Lord. Pedro Go from WHCC came and helped visiting the vessels. Though he forgot his
picture ID, we were still able to visit two ships. Praise the Lord.. 10 ships on Thursday: CLIPPER CARIBE - Myanmar, Croatian, and Ukrainian. No Myanmar Christian on this ship. Prayed with a Buddhist. They got the Jesus DVDs. KRONBORG, ROSBORG, and CLIPPER MOON - All Polish; Polish, and Romanian;
Filipino, Norwegian, and Polish. People from different country has different custom,
but they all friendly. They received the Scripture and Gospel materials. SPAR LYRA, and STENA CONQUEST - All Indian; Indian, Russian, and Swedish.
Four Christians on the first ship. Took the captain and his wife to Seafarer's center.
Prayed with the Hindus and Muslims. One Christian on the second ship was
extremely nice to me helping me to carry the Gospel material box in and out. I gave
him a little bit extra DVD. BBC AFRICA, and NORDANA SOPHIE - Russian, and German; All Thai. Receptive.
MARK-C, and OVERSEAS VEGA - Filipino, Romanian, and Ukrainian; Filipino, and
Chinese. There was only one Chinese on the second ship and he is a third generation
Christian. His father and grand father are all Christians. We preyed togither before he
got on the bus to shopping. I gave him many Christian literatures.6 ships on Saturday: ATLANTIC TRADER, OCEAN JADE, COLUMBIAN EXPRESS, and SCAN HANSA -
Russian, and Filipino; Korean, and Filipino; Indian, and Filipino; Russian, German, Kiribati, and Filipino. One Indian Christian, and one Kiribati Christian. Well receptive.
JIN SUI - All Chinese; All Chinese; She was a two months old ship. No one has short
pass. We had an opportunity to share the Gosple with a few of them and prayed with many others together. God softened their hearts. Most of them got the Scriptures. ALAMO - All Chilian. Delivered to them Scriptures, Jesus DVDs and prayed with
them. Alex Wu from WHCC, Ying Dau Lu, and Daniel Jen from HCC came and helped the
ministry. Peace to all of you who are in Christ. (1 Pet. 5:14)
