Dear seafarer's friends, 06/05/11 - 06/11/11

Grace and peace be yours in abundance through the knowledge of

ships visited this week
4 ships on Monday:
NORD EXPLORER, MEDITERRANEAN HIGHWAY, IKAN ALTAMIRA,
and ZHI QIANG - All Filipino; Filipino, and Bulgarian; Filipino,
Ghanaian, and Chinese; All Chinese. We visited the second ship
last Apr., the third ship last month. Prayed with them and
blessed the crew. We preached to a ten people crowd. Two of
them showed their interests in the Gospel. We took one able
seaman to Best Buy and sent him back to the ship afterward.
Ying Dau Lu from Houston Chinese Church came and helped the
ministry today.
7 ships on Tuesday:
TRADEWIND UNION, FORMOSA EIGHT, RICKMERS JAKARTA,
and CHEMTRANS OSTE - Filipino, and Indian; Filipino, and
Chinese; Filipino, Romanian, and Chinese; Filipino, Georgian,
Russian, Ukrainian, Latvian, and Myanmar. We were on the first
ship last Aug., the second ship a year before last Dec., the
third ship last Jan. (See pic. 1 for the Chinese cadet on the
front right and other Filipino crew on the second ship).
CEBIHAN, PETRODOVORETS, and STI CONQUEROR - All Turkish;
All Russian; All Indian. There were five Christians on the last
ship, chief cook, general steward, bosun, second engineer,
and third engineer. (See pic. 2 for the Turkish cadet on the
first ship). Prayed with them and blessed the ships.
Steven Chao from WHCC came and helped the Lifeline to
Seamen ministry today.
6 ships on Thursday:
IKAN MANZANILLO, QUEEN ACE, NORDISLE, STELLENBOSCH,
CORN HILL, and ZHI QIANG - Filipino, and Chinese; Filipino,
Japanese, and Korean; Filipino, Indian, Polish, Sri Lanka,
Peruvian, and Chinese; Myanmar, and Polish; All Turkish; All
Chinese. We were on the fist ship last May, the second ship
last Apr., the fourth ship last Feb., the last ship three days
ago. We took one seaman to Best Buy and HEB and sent him
back to the ship. He was very friendly to Christianity. We
shared the Gospel with the Chinese third officer on the third
ship, and he accepted the Lord. There was one Armenian
Christian on the Turkish crew, the second officer on the fifth
ship. Prayed with them and blessed the crew.
Someone from Fort Bend Community Church came and helped
the ministry today.
5 ships on Saturday:
MAXIMA, BALTIC SOUL, DONAUGRACHT, STAR KVARVEN, and
CHIPOLBROK STAR - All Filipino; Filipino, and Ukrainian; Filipino,
Russian, and Dutch; Russian, Ukrainian, and Lithuania; All
Chinese. We were on the last ship last Jan. (See pic. 3 for
the second officer on the left). Prayed with him and blessed
the crew. Finished distributing all the Scriptures and Gospel
materials.
Wei Bin Lu from West Houston Chinese Church came and
helped the ministry today.
