Dear seafarer's friends, 08/03/08 - 08/09/08

Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. (Php. 1:2)
ships visited this week
4 ships on Monday:
VERGINA - All Filipino. They had a Jacob's ladder, but we didn't climb it, because we had materials in
our hands. We took an easy way out. They came down and got the Scriptures. Blessed the vessel.
MOSOR - Croatian. Very interesting people. They received the Jesus DVDs.
MARITIME ALLIANCE - All Chinese. There was no gangway. We used an armed elevator to get on the
ship. 6 people came forward and prayed the salvation prayer: to admit we are sinners, and because
Jesus Christ's blood and our faith, we are counted as righteousness. And because His resurrection, we
have eternal life.
AALBORG - Polish, Ukrainian, Bulgarian, and Romanian. Very receptive. Blessed the vessel.
Steven Chao from WHCC came and helped visiting the vessels.
4 ships on Wednesday:
MURAT KIRAN - All Turkish. Every one we met was receptive.
LIAN XING HU, ETERNAL CONFIDENCE - All Chinese. All Chinese. We were on the first ship three .
weeks ago. We delivered some current evangelical newspaper and magazines to them. We finished
all the Gospel materials we brought for the second ship. We sang a lot of Christian songs in duet, they
liked it very much, and we asked them to pray the salvation prayer. They all did. There were about
fourteen of them.
VALLERMOSA - Italian, and Indian. 2 Indian Christians on board. Short visit.
Pastor Jonathan Chiu from Formosan Evangelical Church came and helped the ministry a lot.

STAR HARDANGER, PORT MAUBERT, and ROSBORG - All Filipino; Filipino, and Romanian; Filipino,
Romanian, and Polish. Half of the Filipino Christians don't have a Bible with them, so we just deliver it.
MARE CARIBBEAN, and STENA CONQUEROR - All Russian; Croatian, Russian, and Indian.
Receptive at first, then was a little bit ignored on the first ship. May God helps them to value those
Scriptures. 2 Indian Christians on the second ship. Prayed with 2 Muslims. One bosun and one able
seaman. Praise the Lord for their interest. Took 2 seamen to the seafarers' center.
HAI AN CHENG, FU MAN, and SZYMANOWSKI - All Chinese; All Chinese. Polish, and 4 Chinese.
We were on the first ship last April. Many seamen knew me including the captain. Finished distributing
all the gospel materials I brought. It's the first time to visit FU MAN. One able seaman was a believer.
He was in Vancouver and learned how to pray there. His family members are all Christians. I just
confirmed his faith with him in Jesus' death and resurrection. The last ship had 4 Chinese engine room
cadets on board. Didn't see them, but plan to visit them again.

the gangway. I only had 2 minutes. I prayed to the Lord to give me a chance to see the Chinese crew..

salvation prayer together. Praise the Lord. He did it. I gave him more Gospel materials and blessed the
