Dear seafarer's friends, 08/24/08 - 08/30/08

ships visited this week
1 ship on Sunday:
GENCO WISDOM - All Chinese. I took 7 people including the captain, the chief officer, and the chief
engineer to WHCC for morning worship. Brother Weibin Lu took them to Best Buy shopping afterwards
and then brought them back to the ship.
5 ships on Monday:
HOLLAND KLIPPER - Filipino, and Dutch. Receptive.
REDERAL RIDEAU - All Indian. 3 Christians on board. We prayed with 2 Christians and a Muslim.
ZHE HAI 128, STX PIONEER - All Chinese; Korean, and Chinese. It was the first time we visited the
first ship. Captain and chief cook were very friendly people. We come from the same province in China.
Captain invited us for dinner. We delivered to them the Spiritual food. The ship is going to New Orleans
next. We stayed on the second ship for quite a while, talking to a 25 years old young cadet. God
prepared his heart. He accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior.
SENANUR CEBI - All Turkish. They were all Muslim. They believe Jesus is one of the prophets but not
the Son of God.We didn't stay very long talking with the captain just gave them the Scriptures and
Jesus DVDs.
Steven Chao from WHCC came and helped visiting the vessels. He did a good job.
11 ships on Tuesday:
KIHULAND, GENMAR AGAMEMNON, BBC ZARATE, SKS TAGUS, AMY-C, SEABOARD RELIANCE,
and STOLT JADE - Filipino, and Norwegian; Filipino, Indian, and Romanian; Filipino, Russian,
Ukarinian, and German; Filipino, Russian, Ukrainian, and Indian; Filipino, Ukrainian, Romanian, and
Yugoslavia; Filipino, Ukrainian, Polish, and Venezuelan; Filipino, and mixed crew. They all receptive.
Couldn't get on the last ship because of security reasons.
HARRIETTE - All American. Many believe in Jesus. They need the hope in Jesus.
SANTIAGO - Ukrainian. Responsive.
ZHE HAI 128, and YUN TONG HAI - All Chinese. It was a revisit on the first ship. Prayed with 6 people
on the second ship including the captain and the chief engineer. Both ships are going to New Orleans
next.
3 ships on Wednesday:
CHEMBULK YOKOHAMA, and CARIBBEAN SPIRIT - Romanian, Russian, and Myanmar; Korean, Filipino,
and Myanmar. 2 Myanmar Christians on the first ship. 2 Myanmar Christians on the second ship. Prayed
with them and gave them the Scriptures, Jesus DVDs. One Myanmar came to pray the salvation prayer.
ESHIPS EAGLE - Indian, Latviai, and Polish. 3 Indian Christians on board. We were on this ship last June.
Not much Gospel material had been given out. Many of them still remembered me. Blessed the vessel.
Pastor Jonathan Chiu from Formosan Evangelical Church came and helped the ministry. A good team work.
7 ships on Thursday:
NENA C, OCEAN MARINER, GLOBAL CARRIER, and VERONA CASTLE - Ukrainian, and Russian;
Filipino, and Russian; Ukrainian, Russian, and Turkish; Bulgarian, Filipino, and Ukrainian. Receptive and
Blessed the crew.
SAFMARINE DOUALA - All Chinese. We were on this ship last June. Many knew me from the previous
visits. 12 people came and together we prayed the salvation prayer. Took the fitter and the third engineer
to Wal Mart and led them to repent and asked Jesus to come into their hearts.
LIQUID CRYSTAL - One Greek captain and the rest were Filipino. Delivered the Scriptures, prayed and
blessed the ship.
EAGLE CHARLOTTE - All Indian. I was on this ship last month. 6 Christians on board including the chief .
engineer. Prayed with the Christians. The pump man also wanted to pray for him and his family. Blessed
the vessel.
12 ships on Friday:
SELANDIA SWAN, BOW PRIMA, SAFMARINE TEXAS, AMBASSADOR NORRIS, and MAYA - Danish, and Filipino; Swedish, Norwegian, and Filipino; Bulgarian, Ukrainian, and Filipino; British, Polish, Croatian,
and Filipino; Russian, Ukrainian, Polish, Latvian, Mexican, African, and Filipino. Delivered the Scriptures,
Jesus DVDs and prayed with them to confirm their faith and blessed the vessels.
CHEM CLOVER, and CHEMBULK SAVANNAH - Georgian, and Indian; Georgian, and Myanmar. All 5
Indian Christians went ashore on the first ship. Prayed with the others.. No Myanmar Christian on the
second ship. Blessed the crew and vessels.
FORMOSA SEVEN, GENCO WISDOM, SZYMANOWSKI, BASIC RELIANCE, and PACIFIC FLORES - All
Chinese; All Chinese; Polish, and Chinese; Korean, and Chinese; British, Filipino, and Chinese. Nearly
missed the first ship. I caught her right before she lifted her game way. They got the Scriptures and the
Gospel materials. This was a revisit on the second and third ships. We were on the fourth ship last March.
Many crew had changed since. The new crew got their Scriptures and Jesus DVDs. Prayed with one
Chinese on the last ship. One soul saved.
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. (2Th. 3:18)
