Dear seafarer's friends, 12/21/08 - 12/27/08
Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. (Php. 1:2)
Our weblink is: www.lifelinetoseamen.org Christmas BlessingPray for the seafarers this Christmas season. Many years of experience has taught us that they are most receptive this time of the year. There are unique ways to share with them the joyful gifts of Jesus in the Spirit's power. May we use the opportunities God gives us to impact the message of salvation through faith in our loving Savior. Thomas and Tom want to bless our readers and supporters this Christmas season and in the new year. We're grateful for all your love and involvement. God is blessing us with a greater harvest of souls than ever in 2009.ships visited this week2 ships on Sunday:
GREAT SCENERY, and FU AN CHENG - British captain and
Chinese crew; All Chinese. We arrieved on the first ship a little bit
over 19:00. Sixteen of us crowded the crew's mess room. Eleven
from HCC with some instruments and lots of donated gifts. One from
EFC, Pastor Jonathan Chiu who delivered a short message and two
people came to the Lord. Four from WHCC including Pastor Caleb
Chiu and his wife Priscilla. We sang caroling and gave short
testimonies on both ships. The captain and commissar were a little
resistant on the second ship but we made friends anyway. This was
the second miracle in a roll in two weeks. Usually the guards at the
gate of the terminal don't let people without a proper picture ID
coming into the dock, but they let us in this two times. The Lord
told them in advance already. Hallelujah, Praise the Lord. See
attachments for pictures.
